The venue of the Eastern monthly meeting will be the clubhouse of the Beverley and East Riding Golf Club. Meetings will take place on the fourth Wednesday of the month, commencing on April 24th. Not only does the clubhouse have a fully stocked bar, it is also proud to play home to The Marne Restaurant, chef Shane Tate and his partner Chrissie look forward to hosting our meetings.

You will have already seen the additional meetings that Roger has introduced to the calendar, his post outlines the structure of the meetings which may be viewed by following this link. Club Nights are social gatherings for members to meet with others and we propose that there will be a brief discussion about future events, who is going and where people might meet up. Many great friendships have been made at club nights and partners and spouses are very welcome; chat is not all about cars!

We recommend that anyone attending a club night for the first time makes themselves know as a ‘newbie’ so that they can be welcomed and introduced to others.
Initially CoG members will lead the club nights but it is hoped that local members will take over, with support from the CoG In due course.
We hope the additional venues meet with members approval and they will be popular, feedback will be welcome.

Could attend here as it’s not too far from where we live in York, as is The Smiths Arms at Becwithshaw the Wednesday before, all will depend on work commitments at the time which at the moment are unknown.

Peter,
Well done must confess not a venue I had thought of, we will most probably attend this as it very close to where we live, I will notify it round other local members.

Thank you Steve, it was quite a challenge to find a venue with suitable parking, we look forward to seeing you and everyone else in April. Pete

Hi Peter,
Hope to be there, work permitting.
It looks like a good run over from York.
Cheers,
Andy

Great to hear Andy, there are are some nice roads to explore from York.

Hi Peter

We are relatively new members of PCGB and live near Beverley and have been to a couple of r4 gatherings so we are delighted to find out that you are organising a monthly meeting at Beverley Golf Club. Could you therefore put my wife Trish and I on the list for the evening.

Thank you for your interest, we too are new to the region and hope fellow East Riding members will enjoy the evenings and our plans for some local drives. Val & Pete
