WE I (I use the term loosely) have just taken delivery of a beautiful black 997.2 4 GT3 which has just had the111 test done a Teeside Porsche. 2012 38k Full service history
THe new owner is a fully paid up member of POCGB
The small number of fault have been or will be corrected by the early next week
This included No Porsche Battery (New Porsche battery fitted)
One key does not work (Replaccement ordered - although I have corrected this.
Cigar Lighter does not work - new one ordered

But on the way home the Sat Nav suddenly showed the PORSCHE Screen and returned to set up page (about 50 mins into journey)
I assume that this is because its got a new battery - Does it need some sort of a reboot

or some thing else

Car is mind blowing and more important Comfortable we tried a GTS but just all a bit to hard

Is this a 997.2 GT3 RS 4.0? Not sure what a 997.2 4 GT3 is?

I had a similar issue with my previous 997.2 4S but it would switch off and on again. it stopped doing it after a while, on the forums the consensus was that the PCM was on its way out.

Why does any slight problem with a Porsche always get blamed on most expensive part!! I think you might be right. After fitting a battery the whole system has to recycle so it might be better to give it a few cycles. But I do think that we should not mention it to Porsche until the Warranty is in place
