I'm having a garage loft clear out and I find that for some reason, I kept many of the used bits and pieces that came off a 68 911 I restored some 10 years ago and some 2.4S stuff. These are pretty unattractive small parts, but might be important for somebody who wants to add to a stash of parts for other restorations. We're talking parts of a 901 gearbox that blew when I didn't tighten the mainshaft nut up tight enough (and includes casing with a big hole in it!), old bits of trim (bumper narrow brightwork, etc), ratty door cards and arm rests, old carpets and so on. Boxes of old trim parts includes some new unused parts. Also included is old bits from my 2.4S like old fuel injection pipes and other detail stuff. All of these parts can probably be bought new, but if you're restoring on a budget, this stuff might be useful. Otherwise it's all going to the recycling. No charge, but come and get it yourself in Marlborough, Wiltshire. Can take some unattractive photos if required!
I have a tinted heated rear window. I think the tint is for a Carrera 3.2 rather than an early 911. Element looks OK and wires still connected, but no guarantees. I was given this, so it's free to a new owner (but collect).
I also have a pair of old, early steel heat exchangers that came off a Florida 911. I think they are genuine Porsche items, for a pre-69 engine. They are used, dirty and slightly battered in places but no obvious rust. No guarantees but I think they will look great after a sand blast and paint. Let's say £150 for the pair.
