Insurance for 4.2 Diesel S

Punta Del Este

New member
Hi,

Just joined so hello to all the members on here.

I have owned a 2014 Diesel S for the last year and found it to be a brilliant car. I am due for insurance renewal and wanted to know if there are any recommendations as the Diesel S is 4.2 twin turbo and a lot of insurers are not interested.

Thanks

I've been using Mannings Uk for 14 years with my 993 and added my Cayenne Turbo S this year with no issues
They have a big full page ad in the Porsche Post too.
Porsche are one of the Marques they do and not a of the shelf product so you can tailor it to your requirements
My 993 had 3000 miles and a agreed value too. They also use Porsche approved repairers
You also use to be able to do Porsche Club track days, it just doubled your excess
Had no issues with them and always had a good price that is always cheaper than the Club affiliated insurance company

Your boy is 18 and you added him to the insurance ????

I'm interested to know what difference this made to your policy.
I'm with Admiral on a multicar policy at the moment and my Boxster costs £160 a year.
My son is 17 and I'm thinking of adding him to the insurance for one of the other cars (old Honda CR-V)
