R18's January 27th Sunday Social Drive - Where modern vehicles and their features are contrasted with vehicles and transport systems from much earlier years.

Porsche Center Bolton have kindly agreed to open earlier than their normal trading hours and will provide (complimentary) breakfast sandwiches to start the day. As well as exclusive access to the show room facilities, we will be treated to a demonstration 'workshop'. This is most likely to be showcasing the new Connectivity features, functions and technology etc. that is now available on the latest Porsche Vehicles.

Around midday we will take the short drive to Bury Transport Museum. Here dedicated PCGB R18 display parking is organised.

At the Museum, we will be hosted to a guided tour of the building and exhibits. The museum houses many forms of vehicles and transport systems. These exhibits will remind us of 'roots' of all the technology experienced earlier in the day and will bring back many memories for our participants. Following the tour, we will then enjoy a relaxing Buffet Lunch within the 'Education Suite' which overlooks the main hall of the Museum.

The cost of the day after the complimentary Breakfast (provided by Porsche Center Bolton), Museum entry, and Buffet lunch is £15 per head (Payable by Bank Transfer or Cash on the Day). Pre-booking is mandatory and numbers may be limited if the event proves popular.

Please e-mail. kevindodd@hotmail.co.uk to confirm your attendance with Membership Number, Name(s) and Vehicle Registration.

To all those registered for this event, please arrive at Porsche Center Bolton 9:30 - 10:00.
Details for the rest of the day will be issued from there.
Cheers
