Paint flaw roof channel

hi,

I have a new 718 Cayman and just wondering what your thoughts on this slight flaw in the edge of the roof around the top corner of the windscreen. I only noticed it when I was detailing the car today and drying the gap around the screen.

The car was bought brand new in October. I’d really prefer not to have to get any paintwork done. I’m more concerned about it rusting, but hopefully it won’t. I’ll take it down to the OPC next week, but I doubt they’ll want to touch it.

Anyone ever very had anything similar on their cars?

Thanks

It looks as though that's escaped the BIW inspection team - very poor quality control.

I'm sure your supplying Porsche Centre will want to rectify the fault. Best to get it sorted otherwise there could be issues when re-selling.

I agree with Jeff, it should have been found and sorted in the predelivery inspection or in the factory, preferably the latter.

Go in and tell them to fix it, you could well have difficulty in selling otherwise.
