987.2 2.9 engine, AOS replacement?

I have one to change on my (Boxster) 2.9, 59 plate.
Anyone on here actually done the job please who can give me the general way to go about it?

Ah!

But those are the 'old' AOS for the pre 987.2 generation, and a lot different to the 987.2 2.9 litre engine in the 2009 on Boxster/Cayman.

The AOS device is very different, but it seems you have to remove the rubber connection oval sleeve between the inlet manifolds to get access to just one screw! All that disturbance for one screw...

Hope that someone on here has actually done it DIY style, but thank you for the reply.
