Owning an early Cayenne

I’m considering replacing my 944 with a Cayenne Turbo mainly due to my kids no longer fitting in the back!

It would be one of the original 4.5‘s, I didn’t really like these when they came out but think they have aged well and now seem great value for money. I know they are approaching 15 years old but that’s quite modern compared to my nearly 30 year old 944!

Does anyone have any advice, good or bad. I’m aware of the coolant pipe issue and a few others.

Brian Miller in Edinburgh looks after my 944 but I’m sure he’s told me before his ramps don’t lift Cayennes so I’ll probably also be looking for garage recommendations if I do buy one.

Thanks

Would recommend David Philips for servicing. Sure there must be plenty of advice on buying an early Cayenne on the web. Good luck
