Hi Everyone.
I'm heading over to the March 3rd Club meet at Caffine & Machine. (More info in the events section)
I'll be leaving the Sleaford/Lincoln area around 8am if anyone fancys joining. I'll be going the more 'Scenic' route that I used last time I went, takes about 2 hours 15 mins.
Thought it would be great to get a convoy together!
I've tried to post on our regions Facebook page but no joy, if anyone's interested let me know!
Cheers!
Jim.

Good evening, sorry I was out all day so not able to deal with the Facebook post. We'll have a chat Jim and see what we can sort.

Cheers

Mick Jordan will be working as it's my Sunday off James.

Also worth noting it'll be my birthday on the 3rd of March, so don't forget those Portuguese tarts I like!

:ROFLMAO:

Hi Jim

We have registered for the event, so will be going unless the weather is so bad there will be no point going.

Regards R&W

Hi Jim, we've also registered for the event and I would be happy to join you on the road, unless as mentioned above the weather goes against us.

cheers

Phil

Great to hear a few people would be interested!

If you haven't had chance to go over for a coffee or lunch, its a must for a Porsche fan! I'm confident it will be a great meet! with some great driving roads when we leave in and around the Cotswolds

Here is a link to Caffeine & Machine's web site , also worth noting there Intagram is a great follow!

http://caffeineandmachine.com/

Planning to meet in Bourne around 8AM, then through Colsterworth , Melton on to Leicester ring road, M69 etc. That route should take around 2 hours and is the route I took last time I visited.

More detail to follow! And input always welcome!

Cheers

Jim

Hehe, Ewan's birthday on the 4th, so should be easy to remember your Portuguese tarts lol :ROFLMAO:

I would love to join you guys but I am working that day, well worth a trip though I went a couple of days ago, it might be of interest to have a look at Rennsports showroom as it is very close.

I see the event is now fully booked!

Speaking to Rod today, there is definitely some interest from R4 in a drive out to the event.

How many people have secured places from lincs do we think??

Did everyone above get booked on ok!?

Cheers

Jim

As far as I'm aware not yet. However I'm sure if you registered you'll be ok?

There will be a correspondence in due course I'm sure.

Jim.

Hi, any update as to the meeting point/time for the drive to Caffine&Machine on March 3rd?
I've had no email from POC to let me know if I'm going or not yet. I know there was limited places as the venue parking limits the attendance.

If all goes well, I was thinking an 8.00am meet at McDonald's in Bourne for coffee, leave 8.30am.

Cheers

Jim.

Many thanks for that Jim. I emailed Mandy Sutch and confirmed my place with her as we intend to stay in Bourne on the Saturday night and needed to book a room.

Look forward to meeting you on the 3rd (hopefully).

cheers

New to PCGB.

Highly recommend C&M. Sense that the PCGB day will be very busy, Sunday their busiest days on weekends since opening in late ‘18.

Still slightly unclear as to what is going on?

The event is now spread over 2 days, Saturday and Sunday, ive had an email asking me to choose a prefered day, but have heard nothing since.

I presume others are in the same boat?

The email asked people to be there before 9:30 now not 10:30 as the original event planned, its a good 2 hours from me so will possibly give this one a miss.

Yeah, bit miffed about this myself. We have arranged to stay in Bourne on the Saturday before meeting you guys, but like you say will we would have to leave about 6am to get there to guarantee a car parking space ! Was looking forward to a good drive.

Not impressed as I booked this event last October....might give it a miss too

Ill email the Organiser today and find out whats happening and if anything can be done.

This is being exicuted very poorly in my optinion!

James,

Give Mandy a call at the Clubhouse on 01608 652911 and she'll explain the reasoning why the days are being executed in the way that they are. As ever, we'll try and be as flexible as we possibly can.

Thanks,

Chris
