It's part of my hobby/obsession/OCD or I might be just crazy, but when things are nearing the end of their best I like to see if there are options to revitalise, rebuild and make better rather than taking the easy and cheaper option of replacing with a new - we have 6 hoovers in the house, when they break the misses gets a new one, I repair the old.

so my sons 987 3.2 has 105k miles on the clocks, still runs perfect and will probabaly do so for many more miles.

But say it did fail or I wanted to rebuild has anyone done or know of 3.2 that have been enlarged - If memory serves me right didn't Autobarn once offer enlarged rebuilds on their M96/M97 engines.

In fact there's an article in December's '911 & Porsche World' magazine by Hartech on the subject of increasing capacity as part of an engine rebuild.

How about that for timing and coincidence!

Cheers
