I know this is a while away but there has been quite a bit of interest in doing a post Christmas run so I have put together a Breakfast start point then a run out that I hope the R22 and R18 Members will join us on.

You are welcome to come on the drive in any car as I know some of you will have your Porsche's stored away for the Winter.

The start point will be the Moota Garden Centre on the A595 between Cockermouth and Carlisle (Location Post Code : CA13 0QF) for breakfast meeting from 10.00am and leaving around 11.15am

We will head from there on the A591 past Bassenthwaite Lake and Keswick then past Thirlmere, Grasmere and Ambleside through Windermere to join the A65 heading to Ingleton where we will turn off and head to the Ribblehead Viaduct (Location Post Code : LA6 3AU). The journey distance from Moota Garden Centre to the RibbleHead Viaduct is 70 miles and should take us 2 hours to complete.

The route I have proposed is below

For those who are planning on meeting us at Ribblehead we expect to arrive around 1.15-1.30pm

The Station Inn Pub is close by for those wanting to have a meal upon arrival (see Menu below)

Please leave your details if you are interested in joining us on the day.

This Sunday is our first drive out of 2019. The weather forecast is looking good so I hope to see as many of you that can make it for a lovely sceni drive through the Lake District down to Ribblehead in North Yorkshire.

If anyone has any questions please drop me a message or give me a call. [:)]
