Hi All

This is a photo taken by eporsche about 8000 miles ago. Before my ownership, done during a service, stamp in book but no other paperwork.
How much life have I got - does this look ok? Looking on Google images it seems pretty good, but I have no idea how long they are meant to last?

Hi

the big problem with the photo is that you can’t see the bottom one

have they been changed? They last about 100k

Hi Waylander

I cant tell. I know RSR did the chain about 20k ago, but it doesnt mention the pads in the invoice, this photo was at 85K ish.

I need to find a good specialist on the South Coast. Recent experience with Brookspeed has been worse than terrible which is a shame as they are 15 mins away so I may take it back up to Guildford direction to RSR - at least they know 968s.

I cannot imagine anyone changing the chain and not the pads too, that is just plain stupid.
My chain and pads are original at 152K

And my cams still have all the teeth, unlike me [:)]
The bottom pad wears more than the top
