Date adjustment

4 months into 997 gen 1 ownership and loving it. Whilst adjusting the time to gmt noticed the date is set to July 2000 and I can’t seem to adjust. Anyone have a quick fix please?

You could try rebooting the PCM in the first instance and see if that then allows you to adjust the date. Press numbers 1,4 and 8 simultaneously. ( With it powered up!)

Thanks for that. Tried that reboot and date still at 7/7/2000. Believe it is linked to the gps system so will try driving around and see what happens

Did anyone find a fix for this? I've just had a new starter motor and when they reconnected power its set the date to 01.01.2000!

I read elsewhere that someone had success by ejecting the GPS dvd and re-inserting. Others though reported that didn't work either - but worth a go! Either way the GPS appears to be the main suspect
