Dilema 993s Vesuvio vs 993s

Hi there

In the search for my first 993, second Porsche, I have come to the pretty much the conclusion that I will be going for a 993s.
As I live mostly in France, I am looking at left habd drive cars in Europe.
Have come acoss 2 cars and having a difficult time deciding?
1. 993s Vesuvio 158000 km
2. 993s with 78000 Km
Similar spec, similar price. One is obviously rarer than the other but with double the mileage. I will be using this car for weekends and probably around 6000km per year. Hope to keep it for a few years after which if the day arrives hope to sell it for not a great loss and replace it by another porsche, probably a little more modern depending on the market at that time? or not....
Would be grateful for your thoughts on this mater..

Thanks
Babak

You won’t lose on either
I would ignore mileage provided the Vesuvio is in at leadt as good condition then I’d go for that
both great cars though

Two great car, as Dylan says you wont loose much on either. However, trends can change and your real investment is in the joy of ownership and driving the car of you choice, not in £SP that applies to whatever model, make etc.

If a true 993 Vesuvio (check its not a Arena Red being passed off as vesuvio) it could be one of the limited edition models. This will be confirmed by searching on the net for this LE Model.
I think you will find the door handles amongst other bits have dark grey handles etc. However, get the car checked checked with the VIN and as ever, a car of that age I would say must have a PPI.
Your selection should come down to condition, miles etc, and the car that you most like. ie Dont buy a Vesuvius just because it may be rare, but the car you like and will love.
