for me if they were sprayed matalic silver they would go allot better with the blue or if a bit Leary a brown gold goes great with blue

they are are just for an alternative style, I don’t like black cars or black wheels
and black wheels on a black car are the worst
the car came from the factory with 17” Cup1 and they will always stay with the car
i thought they looked quite good in grey and silver but they need a refurb so any colour is an option
time for a bit of photoshop
Paintwork looks great, which blue is it?

Presumably you wouldn't be asking for opinions either.

i have owned it for 5 years it’s cobalt blue with classic grey interior
i have a set of 17” cup1 two of which were on the other side of the car when it took the foto
i have a picture of the car with Cup2 on it somewhere
i quite like the grey centres they came in that colour, they were a 3K option for a boxster S
still making up my mind what to do with them, keep or sell

I think they make it a bit more modern looking-but at the end of the day a very personal choice.
Would be happy to use them as a winter wheel and silver with a polished rim and darker centre would be my choice.

Changing the colour of original wheels is a different thing, so another shade of grey might not look bad. I'd still say that the blue looks best with the original silver though.

I've always liked 968's on Cup 2's but they will probably drive best on 16" cups
