Hi everybody
I was thinking of putting a battery saver/charger on my 987 boxster over winter I see on the shop they do ctek 3.8 amps is this the recommended charge rate as they also do the 5.0 amp on line what do you think.
many thanks steve

There's been a link on this recently. The Ctek 3.8 charger should be fine with your car. I use one for my 997.2 turbo throughout the winter. I plug it into my cigarette lighter socket and run the cable out through the bottom of the door.

The MXS 5.0 would be fine too if it looks the best buy or you have other vehicles which may require a higher rate. It won't overcharge the battery, just the max amps available is higher.
