Porsche Warranty

I bought my 987.2 S from an OPC last year and it came with the two year Porsche warranty. It is now due a service, if I have it serviced at my local independent specialist will it invalidate my warranty? Anyone have any knowledge/experience?

Hi

The above I believe are strictly speaking correct

However In my experience sticking with the main dealer if like mine they will go the extra mile to assist if they know the car and owner well. I have had several repairs carried out on the warranty as a good will gesture even though strictly speaking they could have argued the case. Depends how you feel towards your dealer.

Read what is not covered section B & C Especially C

Good Luck

There is a difference between the wording of a new car warranty and extended warranty.

I believe you have to use OPC for the extended warranty, however this doesn’t stop you using an indy or doing you own interim service between the mandated Porsche 2-yearly services.

I’d check the policy to make sure.
