Separating driveshafts from transmission ?

Any tips gents on getting these separated mine are proving a bit stubborn, all bolts removed tried cleaning the back edge with a knife and drowsing in wd40 however still not keen to come apart.
 
If you have the bolts all removed it's only going to be corrosion holding it all together. Get a hammer and give it a good tap working your way round, it'll eventually work free.

Great news .What work are you doing on it? Looking at the pic either lowering it or dropping the rear beam/torque tube maybe??

Apologies for rejuvenating this thread but the link above is definitely worth more than a look IMHO as it covers those nasty jobs that most of us put off such as torque tube rebuilding, complete rear suspension rebuild and much more.

It also drew my attention to this lady from Oz who is rebuilding a torque tube.
