Morning everyone.

Just a quick message for those of you not on facebook. Last night at the PCGB annual awards dinner R3 picked up the very prestigious Region of the year award.

I'd like to take a moment to thank the driving force behind R3, Greg & Deb Harm. Without their tireless efforts this would never have been possible. Very glad I got to be part of this amazing night.

Thanks also to all you fantastic guys & girls that make R3 the great bunch we are.

Dave

Wow that’s fantastic!!

thanks for posting David, I’m one of those not on F/B, so great to learn about this so so.

Huge thanks to Greg & Deb on all the work they do, great to hear that this has been recognis nationally with the win!

Congratulations and huge thanks to Greg and Deb for the deserved accolade of region of the year. We've thoroughly enjoyed our times with the group, which always has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and look forward to many more events, drives and activities to come.

More power to their elbows!

John & Gillian

Fantastic.

Well deserved, great bunch of people driving great cars and having fun.

Thank you to everyone who works hard, plays hard and turns up to make the club what it is.

Mark & Sally.

Excellent news and very well deserved - it was hardly a secret though that R3 is the best 👍

We all knew it, now everyone else does too [:D]

Well done Greg and Deb and everyone else the makes R3 the great region that it is.

What a Fab evening (I think!)

Very well deserved without a shadow of a doubt.

Those two cheeky monkeys have done stacks & indeed brought the club forward in many ways.

The "cup" is superb but I won't go into that any further!

Bumped into loads of people (to much booze) One of the best evenings I've had since baby sitting with a ex-girlfriend at school !!!!!

Thank you all for your kind accolades, of course Deb & I really are bursting with pride and consider ourselves immensely privileged to be allowed to collect this award on your behalf. Please don't forget that this is the Region of the Year Award and as such belongs to each and everyone of us all here in R3. It is not just about Deb & I, so please give yourselves a well-earned pat on the back for your own contribution towards making this happen.

You, the members, have helped this Region to really make it's mark in PCGB history and should be immensely proud of this achievement. This is a fantastic award to win, especially in the 70th anniversary year of Porsche Cars and I would especially like to thank the large numbers of key members, (past and present) who have regularly gone above and beyond for the good of others and this Region. I feel it is only fair that I point out that their efforts have also undoubtedly gone a long way to R3 winning this award and put this success down to a huge team effort.

Without your continued help & support, Deb and I would simply find ourselves in an empty room at Club nights with no one interested or listening as we try to promote events or the benefits of being part of this fantastic Club. I personally feel that what continues to make this Region successful and interesting, is the wonderful people in it. Our cars are great, but without some of you even recognising it, you are by far the best asset this Region has; you share your experiences, form and bond friendships, promote our Club and are not just the drive behind motivating others to join in or take part in events but actually the real reason many choose to do so.

This award has been a long time coming and I would also like to also thank and acknowledge the great work of our previous Regional Organisers who over the years helped to shape and build this Region into what it is today.

Congratulations R3 you have truly earned and deserve this award and a massive well done and thanks to you all.

Greg & Deb.

Huge congrats Greg & Deb - you managed to convince me that the PCGB that I’d been a member of for around 13 years was worth attending the many varied events & club nights. We have met some great people & look forward to many more great events & drives. R3 truly is a great group of people & is not like other car clubs I’ve been involved in. If you’ve never been, give it a try - you wont be disappointed.

Well done to two of the nicest people in the Club. Their hard work and the support of their members has made this award possible.

Just shows what dedication an hard work can achieve.

I just wish you were closer to where I live!!! [:-]
