Ignition switch

wonder if I can get some help please. Just removed my ignition switch from my 98’ 996 careers as it’s not fully functioning. The part looks like it was original as grub screws were still marked up with possible red paint. It’s marked up with the Audi rings, part number A4O 905 849. When looking on eBay some have an extra A or B at the end, mine doesn’t. However, when looking at Jasmine Porsche product it has a B at the end and says it fits my car...around £25. But there are cheaper ones with exact same part number, ie with a B at the end for around £10. What’s confusing is that they don’t apparently fit my car or so the product website says. Porsche want £130 + vat. Confused!!! I really want to just drive somewhere and get one tomorrow. Could somebody point me in the right direction please

Wow, that was quick Richard. Sorry but link doesn’t work For me. Could you pm to my email at devans996@outlook.com or can you just tell me what I ask for please as when I read the part number out to them they were confused. Fully appreciate that eBay is not the best place. Do you know approx cost, cheers

Excellent, many thanks both. Ordered ready to pick up and fit tomorrow. Happy days. Many many thanks

Was all fitted and all working fine, thanks to both for the advice. By the way, there is an excellent video on YouTube showing you how to do this job. Did it in around 30 minutes. Cheers
