Refitting headlight washer bottle to 1984 3.2 RHD Carrera - where do the horns now go?

Hi all,

Greetings from Brisbane, Australia.

My 1984 RHD 3.2 Carrera has headlight washers, and the wiring all works, etc, but a previous owner has removed the black bottle in the FL guard. So I have a replacement that I'm installing. But the trumpet horns have been mounted in the LH guard to the bracket that the headlight washer bottle strap goes around. I've removed the horns so as to mount the bottle, but of course I need to re-mount the horns.

Could someone please post a photo of how the trumpet horns are located in the FL guard with the headlight washer bottle also mounted in the FL guard.

Many thanks

Dave O

Hi T911UK,

I wondered about that. But my multi-bar oil cooler is on the RHS. Wouldn't that result in similar mounting problems for the horns on the RHS?

Cheers

Dave
