Time to upgrade the old Steering wheel

I think I will make a few modifications to the 981 (15) Boxster. I have a steering wheel with paddles built in front.back, but i'd like a Sports design Steering wheel.
I have Sports, Sports + the Chrono clock not sure if I have launch control as I have a 2.7.

I think this is the correct model: 99104440001A34, this model shows Sports/Sports + in the blacks parts of the wheel - £880 seems to be the figure, does anyone know if this is a good price? I am sure there are discounts around.

Seen a few on eBay but the codes are similar but not quite the same.

I would call your 3 most local porsche centres to see who can do the best price - they’ll like to get the business on something like this.

Dont underestimate the fitting effort though - a clever offer might be pay full retail and get it fitted Foc.

had my 987.2 wheel swapped over for a sport design steering wheel at OPC (pdk with paddles instead of original thumb buttons which I can't get on with) - cost not much more than you're being quoted for just the steering wheel. agree with C2dweller - might be best to just get them to source and install it for the sake of £100 quid difference.
some links on youtube showing how to do it yourself if you want - but felt happier having opc do mine.

Cheers,

I upgraded this weekend to the Sports design Wheel..it looks a lot better. Took about 30 mins.
Sports exhaust now booked...

Regards,
Paul
