Boxster Ownership & #firstworldproblems.

Last weekend Deb & I along with many others had an amazing time at the Brands Hatch Festival of Porsche. At the end of the day as we were just about to go out on the Porsche track parade, when a very distressed gentleman approached me in the Club marquee to tell me he had locked his keys in the boot of his Boxster and asked for help.
I have heard there is a way to get in without causing any damage but wasn't 100% sure if my information was correct. I quickly sought out Tracy Wilkins who I think we all agree works tirelessly for the Boxster Register and asked if she could help with the gentleman's dilemma.

Tracy was more than happy to oblige and sprang into action, literally running down to the paddock to get assistance so this chap didn't miss out on his fantastic opportunity of driving on track. Within twenty minutes he was up and running and very grateful.
Once again another great display of support & help from our PCGB community. Well done Tracy, this was a fantastic gesture when others where more concerned about missing out on their slot, you remained determined and focused to help.
Keep up the fantastic work.

Best wishes
Greg & Deb

Well done indeed Tracy.

All those that know Tracy will know that she is such a helpful and charming lady, and good fun to be around too!

Very good, but what was the answer to the problem in case we suffer the same?

Well done Tracy! Delighted to sing your praises here... We are lucky to have you looking after the Boxster register with such enthusiasm and good humour.
I was supposed to be at the Brands Hatch Festival of Porsche myself, having bought a ticket, but events overtook me and I was not there. Which is a pity because I went to the last one shortly after buying my Boxster, and a very fine event it was too.
By the way, what is the way of getting into the back of a Boxster if you've locked your keys in the boot? I ask because a chap came rushing up to me at Silverstone a couple of years ago as I was driving out in my Boxster. He'd only owned his Boxster about a month and had done the same thing: locked his keys into the boot. I tried to help but to no avail...

Regards opening the rear boot without a key cannot be discussed on an open forum for security reasons.
Cheers.

I thought this was a closed forum only open to PCGB members who need to register to gain access and use a password to get in, I didn‘t think it was open to the public in general??

Still something one wouldn't want to broadcast on a forum as said for ssecurity reasons.
if anyone is ever in this position feel free to email the Boxster register for help.
Safe guarding all Boxster owners.
