How hot does the trunk get?

Off to tour Spain shortly and whilst it is going to be late in the season we are expecting high 20s to early 30s. We will have all our belongings in the car during the day as we go from hotel to hotel and was just wondering whether leaving aerosols (hairspray, etc) in the trunk is going to be an issue. Has anyone had problems with this? We can put the wash bags under the clothes bags - I just wondered how hot the contents are going to get (yes I know it depends on how hot it is outside etc!!). Anyone help please?

Never been a problem, quite reasonable temperature in the frunk - even a bottle of milk stays cool for 24 hours. Enjoy Spain - great roads!

I have used mine to tour Italy and use it in France during the summer and it is not an issue. Also off to Spain in September with continental cars tours and believe it will not exceed 30 degrees as Autumn is already setting in in middle France. If you think you have a problem do as the locals do and park in the shade ??

On a mid August trip back from the Ring each day I found my trunk got very warm. You certainly would not store milk there, and I was concerned about some bottles of wine and aerosols, though I did not have any incidents with the aerosols.

I've no doubt the rads and coolant pipes near the trunk add greatly to the temperatures and even jackets etc were very warm.
