August Bank Holiday Run 27th August

The route will start at the Tredegar house Duffryn, Newport NP10 8YW Car Park from 0900 onwards with the last cars to be away by 0930.
I appreciate if you could print out the Tulip diagram of the route at /PCGB/media/R14%20assets/Docs/Routes/August-Bank-holiday-drive-2018-V3.docx

We will be stopping at the Blaenavon Big Pit Pontypool NP4 9XP. This could not be pre-booked, so I would suggest you proceed to the entrance and book in and into the waiting room, rather than wait for the others in the group. The tour of the big pit takes 1 hour plus the waiting time. The tour is free, but there is a fee of £3 for the car park.
From the big pit we drive to Hay on Wye and park at the Oxford car park for approximately 1 Hour (70P per hour). Feel free to explore the book shops and the various coffee shops.
Once we leave Hay on Wye, we drive for afternoon tea, Sandwiches and cakes at the Rolls Golf club at Monmouth Here. There is a charge of £15 per head for this.

Have 26 cars registered for this drive now. I suggest when you arrive at Tredegar house, hopefully you will have your Tulip diagrams with you, we will be leaving in a group of 5 cars to make your way to the Big Pit at Blaenavon, so we don't arrive all together.

Hopefully, the weather will be better tomorrow.
