Hoping someone has a bright idea I’ve missed.
Having just rebuilt my differential due to ring gear and pinion disintegrating I reinstalled the transmission yesterday and followed the Porsche workshop manual to the letter. Took her for a couple of short test drives including a short run on a motorway and she drove better than ever. Following a short break I then headed out for a longer drive, got less than 5mins from home and lost drive, no noises just no drive. I got recovered home and gave up for the day.
This morning I carried out an ATF check as per the workshop manual, all looked good, halfway between min and max. Headed out for another drive and only made it to the end of my road before loosing drive again. Pulled over, stopped the engine and then restarted less than 1min later, had drive. Got home and she lost drive again before I could get into my garage. Stopped and restarted engine and she drove into the garage. ATF level all looking good.
Any ideas welcome as I’m at a loss!
