Thank you to all who could make it to our August Club Night, we had yet another busy night and quite a lot to discuss and mull over regarding our Regional Show thanks again for all your input, feedback, offers of help and of course support.

We have listened to the few niggles we had from our Regional Show last year and tried to action them.

This year we have decided to operate a convoy system for those of you with very low cars not wishing to leave via the exit.

If you want to leave via the entrance please do not just drive out. We will be operating an exit convoy system every hour on the hour after 12 Noon. If you have an emergency or are unclear what to do please seek out a marshall who will assist you.

Please queue patiently behind the convoy vehicle and wait to be escorted off the site slowly. Do Not pass the convoy vehicle, the owners of the park are very strict regarding vehicles leaving via the entrance and if we continue to do so without supervision we have been told that we will not be welcome back. Please do not spoil it for others by thinking these rules do not apply to you. All vehicles unless you choose to leave following the exit signs will be required to be escorted. Thank you for your understanding and patience regarding this matter.

Last year it was also noted that those who arrived early had no access to any toilet facilities until the castle opened at 10.00am. This year there will be a disabled portaloo on the show field to avoid a recurrence of this.

Please note this is only to be used by Disabled visitors, Club helpers and Traders who are struggling to leave the show field. Can everyone else please use the main toilets at the Castle available from 10.00am.

Unfortunately Graham as you know we just don't have the budget to print that many flyers + the waste it creates after people have read it.

I am hoping that with our car park marshalls, visual signage, good comunication and most of all common sense we should be ok on the day. The exit route that has caused us a few problems in the past has now had some of the flip plates removed so it is even possible to drive between the remaining ones with any car, carefully, without issues.

Hi Bob, unfortunately due to quite a few of us going early to set up, a lot of the guys and girls who usually meet to travel in convoy will already be there.

Why not start a thread though to see if any one else wants to meet and head to the show together maybe from one of the usual meeting points, although the main reason we choose Witton is because it is fairly central therefore members will be traveling from all over the Region and further afield not just the North East.
