Hi,
Having previously owned Boxster's and 911-997's we are now the proud owners of a 1988 Carrera 3.2 Targa Sport.
I am now trying to tack down some of the history of the car, I do have some documentation and know that she has been around the country, originally supplied by Lancaster Garages in Norwich, and has had 13 previous owners.

I would be very interested to now how many of the model where bought in to the UK?
Does anyone have this sort of information or can tell me where I could find it?
Many thanks
Chris

Hi. According to Peter Morgan’s Book, 1281 were built for the 1988 model year plus 86 for Japan and 1500 for US. Seen slightly different figures in other books and never seen a breakdown of the 1281 figure for individual markets such as UK. If you do find out please post here again as I have the same model but earlier 1985 model year.

Hi,
According to Tony Corlett's book, in 88 there were 1223 European cars produced out of a total of 2683 Targas that year. So pretty close to what double0 said above. No break down in that book by country either.

I also have an 85 Targa.
