Hi all we went to the car show yesterday at Helmingham stuck in stop star traffic for 3miles in the hot weather and no problems stopped for about 4 hrs coming back soon as left show engine warning light came on took it very easy on way home 160 miles the car never missed a beat ran as good as ever would the hot weather have caused it to come on and would it reset it self thanks p.s the car has done 93000 always serviced Mark

If it hasn't cleared itself when you've fired it up today it's probably best to run some approriate diagnostics to check what's going on rather than relying on guesswork.

Usually the first stop for a CEL would be Lambda sensor related. Maybe the stop-start driving hasn't helped.
