Dansk exhaust rearbox ring

My car has jettisoned its original oval mounting ring that holds the Dansk rear box in place - any idea who sells this part on its own?
Dansk don't seem to have a UK customer service number.

Many thanks.

Paul, IF you mean the rubber ring(s) that suspends the rear box from the bracket, you should be able to get one/two very like it, if not the right one from any exhaust fitter (Kwik Fit, etc)... and ask them to pop it on for you as well.

Hello. No, this is the metal ring that goes round the rear box and hooks over the rear mounting, it came with the Dansk when new - I am amazed that it managed to come undone and part company with the car...

Oh dear... the metal strap which goes around the box. This shouldn’t come off that easily... who fitted the exhaust?

How annoying, Dansk can't help me with a part that comes with one of their products.
Having to get one made up especially.

When I replaced the exhaust on mine with a OEM part the rear box was smaller than the one originally on it so the the metal bandclamp wasn't tight enough. I shortened the band by simply opening up the end with the nut in it, measuring (twice) where it needed cutting then bending the band around the nut and drilling a new hole.

I see design911 have them in stock for £16 and presume Porsche could supply one cheaper if you're happy to modify it or have a garage that could do it?

Good luck

Assume you fixed this Paul? Just order the right diameter Norma or or Mikalor stainless clamp. OEM are made by Norma
