Infrequent use

Hi, just wondering if there is any issues regarding not using my 3.4 C4 regular, maybe once every couple of weeks , is this likely to cause any problems in the future.

I think the only thing you need to consider, is having the battery on a trickle-charger, if it's going to sit for a while ad you know you're not going to use it.

Ideally, I'd say that it's much better to use a car daily if possible - it's a machine with a lot of moving parts and so will benefit from regular use.

However, I'd agree with using a battery conditioner. Plus, when you do use the car, make sure that you take it for a decent run to ensure that the oil in particular is up to temperature.

Of course, you could just try to drive it more often..!

There are times when mine is driven less than every two weeks. As comments above. As long as the car is stored without too much humidity or without huge temperature fluctuations it should be fine. Over winter when the temp drops below zero and then rises quickly, then condensation is an issue.

If mine used as a daily it would not get engine to max. temp , home to work, so when I take it out it would be for a good blast for at least 30 mins or more.

Also, if you end up storing it over winter, (or know it will be for a longer period) I recently bought a copy of The Essential 996, and it talked about Winter Storage prep.

2 weeks is OK but must be decent runs.

Same for any car especially performance cars.

Don't forget to have regular Oil Changes I would say a least once a year and check Filter and First oil out of engine
