So we've had a thread on the longevity of clutch's how about what total mileage Boxster have done.

My son's 2005 987.1 (I've borrowed it for a few overseas trips this year whilst my 3.2 Carrera is having an engine rebuild) has just turned the 100k mark and still pulling strong.

It's been driven to the Algarve, and Classic La Mans this years and has been faultless.

My 2005 987.1S has just done 57,000. I bought it in 2013 when it had done 36,500. I insure it for only 5,000 miles pa, but I sure do enjoy those 5,000 miles! I drove it to work today...

A friend/acquaintence around the corner has an older Boxster (can't confirm which at this point) that he tells me has 250k on the odometer!

That's intergalactic mileage but good to hear she's still going strong.

There was a 2.7l Gen 1 Cayman on the Porsche owners FB page a few days back, up for sale with 150K miles ....well and truly run in

20k in 20 years. Factory collection in July 1998. I think I need to get out more often.. Still get a buzz when I drive her.
