Need to replace all 4 tyres on my 2006 955 Cayenne Turbo S
275 x 40 x 20
(Front 9 - 60, Rear 10 - 55)
All 4 are currently the same size
What do you recommend for daily road use for wet and dry and snow if we have any
I also need new tyre pressure sensors - What options are there for replacements?

Thanks

Graham

I've always used these on my cayenne, whereas i'm a dyed in the wool michelin user one my 911

very good in poor weather and longevity is excellent. I'm on the second set now. Shop around for the best price, i'll think my last set were around £920. TPMS, I find going for the OE is the best bet as i've had aftermarket ones that really haven't been upto the job unless someone knows different?

Hi
I've got an '09 4.8S, I did a lot of research last year and found a lot of the N rated tyres don't have A rated wet grip and also considerably higher noise ratings than more recently tyres, presumably because Porsche don't homologate new tyres for out of production models.

I looked at the Scorpion Verde but I don't think they come in the the correct size, it fits later cars that take 275x45x20. So if you are happy with the rolling diameter being a bit off.

After a lot of research I was planning to get Dunlop Quattro max d/t the A rated wet grip and 68db noise rating but couldn't source any when I needed to change. In the end I fitted Avon ZX7, A rated wet grip and 71db noise rating, with which I've been very pleased over the last year, they grip well in wet and dry and much quieter than the Nexen Rodian I inherited when I bough the car. Note I do use 18in with winter tyres over the winter, so can't comment on their performance in snow and ice.
