There are many subtle difference between the 986 and the 987 nor withstanding the rear spoiler (987.1 Manual)
It is much easier to remove the 987 spoiler
1. Raise the spoiler
2. There are three little rubber plugs on the front side of the spoiler
3. Using a thin rod push the centre pin into the plug
4. Remove the plugs
5. Lift the spoiler cover up from the front and remove
6. Retrieve the 3 pins and push into plugs
7 Using a 13 mm socket remove the two nuts and remove the spoiler
Another job that once done is easy and TOTALLY different from the 986 (NOT shown in the 101 Projects for 986 and 987!!)
