Any advice appreciated.

I'm just talking to someone in the USA with a view to buying his newly restored 356B T5 Coupe. I will be having an inspection done before buying the car.
He is asking $83,000 for, what looks like, a brand new 356. It's really does look immaculate. The engine has been rebuilt as well as everything else. Is this a fair price?
Will I have to change the headlights when I get it back to the UK, and would you fit genuine Porsche ones at £280 each?
Does anyone recommend a shipping company to get it back from the USA? I've seen numerous companies who all profess to be the best?
A picture of the car is attached.
Any advice will be appreciated.

I have used Kingston shipping in Hull and they were excellent.

The car looks gorgeous, but you can't see under the carpets from here. In the past I've brought in two cars and two motorcycles from the States. My pickup I shipped from New Jersey to Thamesport, the 914 I airfreighted from LA to Gatwick and both bikes airfreight from NJ to LGW. A friend of mine has used Kingston and he says they are very good, but back to the 356, if I was shelling out 83 large on a car I would jump on a plane and go see it for myself. The cost percentage wise of the overall expenditure is minimal, surely that is safer just for peace of mind. But it does look a very nice automobile.

I have got quite a lot of photos. The body was taken back to bare metal & both floors panels & spare wheel base were replaced. The owner looks to me like he's tried to get the car back to it's original spec when it left the factory.
I am thinking about flying out there myself but don't want to if I can help it. That's the reason for a 3rd party inspection.
