The Great Classic Show at Bywell. Bywell Parks, B6309, NE43 7AB Stocksfield.[/h1]After the success and enjoyment of last years event I was approached by several Club members this year asking if we could attend this once again as a Club.

Have any Club members already pre-booked tickets for this? If you would like to be part of our PCGB display at this event the organisers have offered us a bigger display area this year with no model restrictions, but I will need to confirm our Club attendance in the next few days.

Please can you express your interest on this thread to give me an idea of numbers, bit embarrassing if I ask for more space if only two people confirm they wish to attend.

Sadly this clashes with the R18 Concours at OPC Kendal this year so some of you may prefer to head over for that, however I would appreciate your feedback.

I normally attend this show Greg, either with my MG's or as last year with the Boxster.

However I am making a weekend of a visit to my sister in Maldon, Essex and on the same day have arranged with R11 to attend the Maldon Motor Show with their group.

So can't make it this year, hope the new venue goes well.

Hi Greg

Just to confirm yes im up for this event .. do you need a ticket or arrive with the club cars

Thanks Mal Souter

Slow uptake on this despite lots of hands going up at Club night and members enthusiastically asking to be involved again after the success at last years show. I asked the organisers for more space to accommodate everyone who expressed an interest, seems it won't be needed.

Tickets are not required if you are showing with the Club, but I must let the organisers know of all names and reg in the next few days.

We attended this show as a Club at Corbridge for the first time last year and I was amazed at the amount of really interesting old and new cars in one place, even though it is billed simply as a classic car show. The organisers have told us depsite moving location to Bywell this year to not let this put you off and promise an even more varied mix of interesting vehicles this year, if it works as well as last years show there will be lots and lots to see and do on the day.

Please do not list your full name or reg on this thread because of data protection simply add your first name and email me your details at R3@porscheclubgb.com if you still wish to be included on our stand at this years event.

Please note any members showing at Bywell on Sunday.

The showground will open to entrants at 8.30am and all cars should be on site by 10.30 as the show opens to the public from 11am. It will close after the presentation of awards at 4:30 pm.

Last year we met at The Falcon Inn, Eastwood Terrace, Prudhoe NE42 5DN it lends itself well with a big car park and is only ten minutes to the show from there. There is a Greggs and a petrol station in the town if anyone wants a coffee or fuel before meeting up for the drive along.

Meet from 9.00am leave at 9.20am or simply meet us there if you prefer but remember you must be parked up on the stand no later than 10.30am.

Hi Paul Unsure if you have already bought your ticket for this or do you want to join us on the Club stand?

I need the Reg for all vehicles submitted to the organisers for cars on our stand. Please pm me or give me a call on 07932746152. Do not post reg on the forum please.

My weather app is showing 24° for Sunday in Stocksfield.

Apologies for going into full on "mother mode" but don't forget your sun cream, hats, and plenty to drink. And picnic chairs! I'm looking forward to a relaxed day in the sun, chatting to car enthusiasts and eating ice cream. (but a voice in my head is whispering "the best laid plans...")

Our new gazebo will be getting another airing, hopefully to keep us out of the sun, not the rain.
