Hello there...I’m a member of R4 and I’m coming down to London next Friday to take my petrol head daughter to the Cruise Ship Job Fair in Islington. We are going to the Ace Cafe for breakfast then will get the train/tube into London. I’m not a regular visitor to London by car and the question is where do I leave it? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Chris,

I live in Holborn and keep my car on street here. Personally I think driving in London is a lot of fun and parking centrally really isn't that hard. Any specific advice I can offer?

20+ years of London and I didn't find it difficult really. Just need to be really cautious where and for how long you park - paying attention to any local/resident/permit restrictions at that time of the day (if street parking). Alternatively there are plenty of NCP car parks around. 964 shouldn't stand out too much.

Not clear if your intention is to park at/near Ace Cafe and just Central LIne it to town or drive in later/before.
