Tiptronic oil cooler return pipe

Has any one changed or had changed the metal oil cooler return pipe in situ without removing the engine which runs from the top of the Tiptronic to the oil cooler? If so did you have any issues
Mine has corroded and is sweating from the nut and I have a replacement
The pipe I am talking about is the shinny one in this photo I found on the net which you can see if you zoom in
Any advice would be be appreciated
