Anyone up for a gathering?

I propose Sunday 9th June, thinking somewhere like Moffat area so as to include some from North of England.

Thinking meet up for late breakfast or possibly lunch.

Alan.

Al, bad date for us Cumbrians as we headed darn sarf on a Porsche buying mission with Martin Mc, we are thinking about a garage sale at Alasdair's with each of us bringing a shopping list and the BBQ and some hard cash [;)]

Hi Alan, Moffat is a good location, I'd love to join in a 944 meet, but sorry, can't make June 9. R2 have an event planned that day.

Afterthought: 16th or 23rd ok with me at mo...

Moffat is a lovely place for a meet and I'm definitely up for it, however as Jim says the Cumbrian branch are Porsche shopping on the 9th.

Cheers, Paul

[:(] I'll try to organise a separate 968 gathering (or just stay at home). You 944 owners are an "elitist" bunch.

Steve, don't worry you can come in your S3 (968).

Seems the Cumbrian boys are off shopping (what is Martin Buying?)

I would like to stick to this date but now the Cumbrians aren't coming, open to a different location. Any suggestions?

Alan.

The 16th is good but we are at the Grasmere Classic Show with R18 on the 23rd and the Moffat Show is the 30th [:)]

A meet up would be good especially with breakfast [:D]

9th Joon is a bad date to pick coz, that's the day of the Brighton meet [;)]. Then again, I don't 'spose any of you Jocks will be coming anyway [:D]!!

Sorry Pete, I had overlooked that being the date for the Brighton Meet. But you are probably right, with the distance between it wouldn't matter.

Martin, do you speak for yourself, or on behalf of your fellow Cumbrian's?

Alan.

Al, we stick together usually and will be at the events mentioned, do you fancy Grasmere, lovely setting and a good little show and not too far for those north of the border, looks like we will have 40 Porsche there, loads of other stuff to look at.

16th is a possibility if it suits others, not much response for the 9th.
23rd I am on a run to Lakes with R1.

Alan.

Thanks Alan. I hope you have a great day [:D]. You never know, I could be up for a few days Hooning to Jockville next year and meet you guys [;)] Any other Southerners up for it??

OK guys, who's up for meeting in Moffat on Sunday the 16th June for a late breakfast.

post here if interested.

Alan.

Thought this was a nailed on date for me until I was reminded it is Fathers Day and a busy day is already planned!

Steve has came up with a problem for the 16th. It is Father's Day.
Does Saturday the 8th or 15th suit anyone?

Alan.

Is this a problem? If you are a father, maybe this is what you'd like to do on father's day - if you've got a father - bring him along![:D]
