Nothing - I think?
So I have this new question......
My cup holders are the ones that spring out from behind the passenger part of the dashboard.
They seem about 3 cms deep - and the ratchet device to accommodate different sizes of bottles is awkward to use. They feel like an afterthought!!
However - I do need somewhere to put my bottle of water, and storage space in the 991.2 is not exactly abundant! (In fact I was a bit surprised how little space there is - you can only just get a phone in the arm-rest compartment - and thats it!)
So - is there a bottle / vessel that is recommended to use there?
My feeling is it needs to have a very slim bottom and, and possibly fatten out but not be too high.
Ideally it should also be possible to open the top with just one hand.
There are those kinds of things for sale - but they are all either too tall, or too big and clumsy, or are more designed for hot coffee.
Generally I use an "Owala bottle" but it's just too big and fat.
I do have a "Chilli" water bottle thats 260ml, so quite small, and just 6.5cms at the base, but its not great, and you need two hands to open it.
In my research I did read the "Ion8" Water Bottle, 500 ml/18 oz would fit - but again it looks too tall . However - it does have one handed opening.
It would be great to have some first hand advice, and maybe some photos of how it sits in the holder - if thats possible.
I did also read that there are some after-market attachments - but I am worried they may damage the car installing them - any thoughts on that?
