Porsche Classic membership

There are lots of posts about the ineffectiveness of this offering from Porsche. I have been a member for 2 years and have had some discounted parts, but no more than I received by asking before. The initial membership is for 2 years and I have just noticed that mine is up. I have received no contact from Porsche. I contacted the dealership and was told 'just to starter again' and prove I own the same classics I did 2 years ago. I have dealt with this dealership buying new cars and servicing my classics for 20 years. They had all my classics as show cars for their recent new showroom launch.
I leave you to make your own minds up.

I’ve been trying to join since February when my son got his 996 and more recently since I get my 3.2 it’s a joke I spoke with Porsche and they sent me the same email and Hatfield are blaming it on their firewall.

are you saying you can get discounts on parts without this ?

Yes Steven, I believe you get 10% off at the dealerships, I occasionally got more. Prior to this membership I used to ask for a discount, and got one, anyway. I did know the parts people for many years so this may have helped before the 'Classic' offering.
