The next round of the PCGB Club Championship is running on Saturday 1st June at Donington Park. Let's go and support the transaxle cars once again!

The Porsches are guesting with the Aston Martin Owner's Club so there will be lots of non-Porsche exotica to drool over too!

Featuring: Intermarque, "Equipe"GTS, AMOC '50s Sports Cars, AMR GT4 Challenge & GT3 Cup,
HRDC 'Touring Greats' & the Porsche Club Championship.

See http://www.facebook.com/events/307444132721870/ for more details

OK, some updates to the plan!

1. Arrive Donington for 9:55am and meet at the Grand Prix Collection car park (opens 10am) to spend an hour looking at the old race cars. Lots of lovely old race cars to look at.

2. Head into the circuit proper to watch the PCGB qualifying session @11:25am.

3. Watch the start of the AMR GT4 race and then whilst it is on (1hr 40mins) go into the paddock to visit the Porsches in their pit area.

4. Have lunch, tyre kick

5. Back to trackside by 3pm at the latest to watch the 1st Porsche race.

I shall be stopping at Towcester Little Chef for some breakfast around 7.30 - 7.45ish will be back on the road around 8.30ish if anyone wants to meet up and convoy to Donny

Latest draft of the timetable (wish I could find it online) lists:

Qual - 11.25
Race 1 - 15.00
Race 2 - 18.25

Having completely failed to get to the last round at Brands, I will be there!

Chris.

Yup. Count me in!

Towcester seems a strange way to Donington from Essex, Andy, I'd have thought M11 A14 M1 but hey ho.[:-]

Anyway, what time are you passing Leicester?[:)]

We're going to be in "motorway avoidance mode" to make things more interesting. Probably heading up the A5 and then the A447 followed by various country roads. Motorways are for Mondeos, not sports cars!

Some nice roads that way certainly - will see you there.

Meeting another friend up there too, so looking forward to a good day.

I would love to join you on this one Andy, However, the Turbo's back in Bournemouth 'till next Thursday being spoilt again [8D][;)]!!!

I said Spoilt not ruined. There's only one kind of 'Spoilt' in my book and, that's to have mountains of cash heaped upon it (or, oneself)!! [:D]
