So last week at Bedford, my S2 blew an oil filter seal - twice!
The suggested problem is the OPRV, which has been replaced - at a huge cost [
] I've also had a gauge fitted to measure oil pressure - it has a peak warning light and peak recall feature.
On a short test drive, with oil still cold, it was hitting over 7 bar! No idea if that happens normally as the gauge only goes to 5.
Anyway, I'm off to Cadwell tomorrow. I plan to swap the 10w60 for 10w40 tonight & see what difference that makes.
