2009 Charity Raffle
As announced in last month's Porsche Post, the draw for the R5 2009 Charity Raffle in support of the Cheshire East Crossroads "Care for Carers" campaign will take place at our Christmas Dinner (see below). Members who would like to support this worthy charity but have not yet purchased tickets (£3.00 each or two for £5.00) and are unable to attend the Christmas Dinner are invited to contact me by "˜phone or e-mail to arrange to obtain tickets.

Forthcoming Events
November 11 Club Night
At The Deanwater Hotel: comprising our annual Planning Workshop - which will be more streamlined than in the past - and a quiz. The first part of the evening is your opportunity to let the Committee know what you liked or disliked about R5's 2009 Calendar of Events and to help us shape the programme for the coming year. We need your inputs to this process, so please come along and let us know your views on this year's programme and proposals for an event or outing you would like included in 2010, and/or for speakers, or topics for presentation, at monthly Club Nights.
If you are not able to attend but have views and/or proposals you would like taken into account, please let me have them by "˜phone or e-mail.
December 9 Christmas Dinner
The R5 Christmas Dinner is again being held at The Deanwater Hotel, on our normal December Club Night. A traditional Christmas meal will be available, together with alternative vegetarian main course and lighter dessert options, at £20.00 per head. If you have not already made your booking, please contact Keri or me (Tel. 01538 385096) no later than Wednesday 2 December.
This will also be your last chance to buy tickets for our 2009 Charity Raffle, which will be drawn after dinner.
January 13 Club Night
At The Deanwater Hotel, comprising our annual Regulars Rewards draw and a briefing on navigation and time-keeping for newcomers to the mysteries of table-top rallying. So dig out all those cloakroom tickets you have collected through the year to maximise your chances of bagging a prize or two, and bring along a pencil and paper to get yourself started towards WRC glory.
