Misfire !

My 3.2V6 has developed a strange misfire but only on first start up when cold. Start the car and as soon as the secondary air valve shuts and brings the revs back down to normal idle there is a pronounced misfire. Raise the revs slightly & it goes, drop the revs & its back, drive to the end of the road & alls fine until next morning start up.

Plugs have been changed as have the coil packs. Couple of independants have run a diagnostic but found nothing wrong.

Anyone got any ideas please - maybe I should take it to OPC ?
 
I wonder if they test the coils ?
You would not be the first member to renew them several times .
