My passenger side electric window glass came loose from it's steel channel on the way back from Le mans. This results in the window sometimes staying up when my passenger tries to move it down.
Obviously, as passengers and meaningful conversation really aren't a massive priority when driving a Porsche I've only just got round to thinking about fixing it.
The channel is in fairly good condition with a slight coating of rust in places. The rubber which goes between the glass and the steel is also in good condition.
Should the glass be bonded into the channel in anyway? I was thinking Silicone Mastic Sealant might do the trick. Or is there a better way?
