Hi

In preparation of my bodywork monkey spraying the bumper and fitting the scoops, can anyone supply me with a close up photo of correctly fitted scoops so he get it right please.
If so, could you mail it to me please @ rob.hounslow@tiscali.co.uk
Thanks
Rob

That head light tape's a bit loud mate - spose some nice quiet discreet stuff would not have suited your car [;)]

Andy tape is passee, the Leichtmeister has retro RSR 70's headlight covers (identical fit) , sourced, painted Mint green, were ready for Oulton[] but my car is still at GT1[:(][]....

Thanks Des

Have your scoops got screw holding them onto the centre of the bumper?
Can't tell from the pic

Rob

Yes have a screw with plug, but not connected through with hose....to be honest they are really asthetic, unless your in a 3.8RSR doing Endurance.....

Rob,

Pic of mine attached (click for bigger pic). As you'll see they don't have a screw showing at the front, and they have the hose linking through to front of the inner wheelarch liner. They look quite neat without the screw showing.

Don't ask me how they're fitted from the inside though - I've never needed to investigate behind the wheelarch liner.

Maybe Des can shed some light - or were they already fitted when you had the car Des?

Thanks Rich.

It's more the positioning I needed so both pics were spot on.

I've looked at Ollie's car, which has the original Porsche scoops on with the grill in the wheel arch liner but I think I'm just going for looks and try to get some more air to teh oil cooler rather than the brakes.
I am going to look at getting some of the AJ ducts for brake cooling as I have a bit more ground clearance than a RS so should be able to attach to the control arms with ripping them off.

Rob
