The Festival of Porsche Scotland, our Wings and Wheels day will consist of hidden gems, show and shines, trophies, live music, surprising treats, and roads less travelled.
The National Museum of Flight has granted private hire just for Porsche Club GB members, where you can explore its fascinating aviation collections including a 1940s Spitfire, Concorde and the National Museum of Flight’s recently acquired Red Arrows Hawk T1A.
Join us at 9am where we have arranged a private PCGB hot Scottish breakfast at the Aviator café. Breakfast will be served in hot chaffing dishes so members can help themselves and will include bacon, sausage and egg rolls and includes tea and coffee.
Following time to explore the museum we will hit the road in convoy to arrive at Thirlestane Castle where we have an exciting packed day in store for you.
Our Festival of Porsche day will be attended by all of our amazing partners and will have a wonderful display of Porsche cars throughout the ages, alongside brilliant workshops, delicious world cuisine, music, crafts, dance, entertainment, show and shine and some great stalls. Porsche Edinburgh will also be in attendance with a great product display and will be running competitions throughout the day with some amazing prizes, and also offering a self-drive experience in new products around the stunning borders.
We are very lucky to have our special guest, British Racing driver Mike Wilds in attendance who will be giving a talk. Still racing, Mike has enjoyed a colourful 55-year career including eight Le Mans 24hr races and eight F1 World Championship Grand Prix.
From Pirelli F1 tyre challenges, photo workshops, singers and technical talks, all against the backdrop of one of the most stunning castles in Scotland, it promises to be an amazing day out.
