In this book, the Porsche archive and two exceptional authors work together to present the history of this racing engine and its cars. Rolf Sprenger, an employee of Porsche for 40 years, explains the technological development of the "Fuhrmann engine".
Alongside this, lots of previously unpublished documents and photos from the factory's archive are presented, unveiling exceptional backstage views of the then young Porsche brand, plus interviews with those directly involved in the early days of the legendary Porsche Carrera.
