Our final event of the year to celebrate 25 years of the Boxster took us on a 600-mile round trip to Durham. We were joined at Beamish Hall on 11 November by 25 cars and 38 members for a breakfast meet. At 8.30am we were greeted in the hotel grounds with a display area for our cars, which Dave Carnarfin, Greg Harm and their wives had set up for us. I can't imagine what time they had started hammering in flag posts but it looked wonderful.
